Don’t drink water or other liquids from plastic bottles or containers, for the same reason.
Drink a glass of boiled, cooled water, with a thin slice of lemon every morning, to hydrate the body, clear the skin, aid digestive system and helps sort out any constipation problems.
Eat a tiny portion of protein before you go to bed. This will keep your metabolism working during your sleeping hours and you will lose weight faster.
Gentle exercise, on an empty stomach will burn off fat cells. Avoid weights and muscle toning exercise, when you suffer with PCOS. Fat burning exercise is better.
When possible eat hot food and drink hot drinks. It satisfies you for longer and is an aid to slimming. If having salads, have a hot soup, or hot drink before.

Avoid root vegetables when you suffer with PCOS. Leafy-green vegetables are better; they contain less sugar and are absorbed by PCOS women faster.
Do not eat potatoes or bread after 8pm at night. Your body does not have enough time to burn off the carbohydrates before you go to bed.
PCOS sufferers are very sensitive to certain carbohydrate foods, so it is essential that you
avoid standard bread, yeast, wheat, pasta, mashed potatoes and rice. Alternatives could be Rye bread, Ryvitas or soda bread, plain cereals, baked potatoes and lots of leafy-green vegetables.
Pears and kiwi fruits are best because of the fibre and high vitamin content. Avoid citrus fruit if
you suffer with arthritis.
MOST IMPORTANT - As a PCOS sufferer you have a slow metabolism. To speed it up, and lose weight healthily and faster, you need to eat your Nibbles or Burns every 15 minutes. If this is not possible, try them in the evening or whenever you can. Nibbles are tiny pieces of raw vegetables and Burns are tiny pieces of protein foods, like chicken.
